Warranty Policy

Effective Date: 06/01/2025

Electric Motorsport offers a Limited One-Year Warranty on our EV parts and systems to protect your purchase from defects in materials or workmanship.

Warranty Coverage

We warrant that Electric Motorsport products will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for 12 months from the date of delivery to the original non-commercial retail customer.

During the warranty period, we will — at our discretion — repair, replace, or refund the purchase price of any defective part, provided the issue arises under normal use and service.

  • Replacing faulty components at no charge
  • Providing support via phone or our Contact Us page

How to Request Warranty Service

  1. Contact us first — all returns must be pre-authorized
  2. Complete a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) form
  3. Ship the product only after receiving RMA approval

Notification Deadline: You must report any defect within 30 days of discovery and no later than 12 months after delivery.

What’s Not Covered

The following exclusions apply:

  1. Normal Wear and Tear – Expected aging or usage-based wear is not covered.
  2. Improper Installation or Maintenance – Incorrect installation, poor storage, or unauthorized service voids warranty.
  3. External Damage – Fire, flood, storms, accidents, and shipping damage are excluded.
  4. Misuse or Negligence – Damage from improper use, neglect, or mistreatment is not eligible.
  5. Unauthorized Modifications or Repairs – Repairs/mods done without prior written authorization void the warranty.
  6. Third-Party Components – Products not manufactured by Electric Motorsport are not covered.
  7. Inappropriate Applications – Warranty does not apply to products used in unintended environments.
  8. Marine Growth or Corrosion – We do not cover damage caused by saltwater, rust, or marine organisms.
  9. Non-Reimbursable Expenses – We are not responsible for:
    • Shipping to us prior to authorization
    • Technician labor or travel
    • Towing, diagnostics, or unauthorized service fees

Refunds & Replacements

If a product is irreparably defective, we may offer:

  • A full refund
  • A replacement product

This decision is made at our discretion after evaluating the issue. Refunds are issued only if the part is beyond reasonable repair.

California Consumer Rights

This warranty is subject to applicable California law. You may also have additional rights that vary by state, including protections under:

  • Implied Warranties (which cannot be waived)
  • Consumer Protection Statutes

This limited warranty does not affect those legal rights.

Shipping for Warranty Service

  • We cover return shipping costs for verified warranty claims.
  • You are responsible for shipping fees prior to RMA approval.
