Liquid Cooling Kit

Our Liquid Cooling Kit is customizable for liquid-cooled motors or the Sevcon Gen4 Size 6 controller, or a combination of the two. Start with the basic kit and add the optional components for your needs.  

The Basic Kit includes 2 barbed brass fittings installed on the pump. You may wish to upgrade these to a swiveling barbed connector, straight compression connector or swiveling compression connector.  Depending which motor you are using, you can use these connectors: 



Barbed brass straight or swiveling connectors: Only on the ME1302 and ME1304


Barbed brass or compression connectors: ME1302, ME1304, ME1803 

Please inquire about custom-made fittings for the ME1616. The ME1616 comes with 3/4" connectors as standard, but to interface with our cooling kit, we will change them to the 1/2" size. 



Basic Kit Includes:


12 V Pump & Reservoir (with mounting brackets)

10 feet of hose

Hose spring clamps

2 barbed brass fittings installed on the pump, may be upgraded. Additional fittings for the other components are to be selected. 

Choose Options From:

Radiator
Heat Exchanger (for marine applications)
Controller Cooling Plate (for Gen4 Size 6 controllers only)

Choose Fittings:

Basic barbed brass (in addition to the 2 included on the pump)

Swiveling, right-angle barbed brass
Straight compression
Swiveling, right angle compression

Use with 1:1 glycol / water mixture



Important:

12 V power supply to run the pump is not included. We suggest using an appropriate DC-DC converter or a 12 V auxiliary battery.
