Charging program consists of 3 steps: constant current, constant voltage, and float charging. TSL chargers provide protection against overload, over-voltage, over-heating, short circuit, and reverse polarity connections. However, TSL chargers are not power factor corrected. They do not have a communication port with BMS system, and they will have to be controlled by an external contactor for over-charging protection.
